We had a great Skype call with a 3rd grade class near Chicago, IL. Our room was full of excitement! We had several visitors here today during our call, including a report (Hannah DeClerk) and a photographer from the Marshall News Messenger. The kids are so excited to see themselves in the newspaper this weekend!
Our visit with the students was great! We learned some things about Chicago that we didn't know, like the tallest building is the Willis Tower. The Willis Tower used to be called the Sears Tower. The students found it interesting that it was snowing in their city today, and they were still in school!! They don't get snow days like we do! They love to eat deep dish pizza and want to try some of our steak fingers.
